Hand-drawn illustration of a spectacled bear cub. I made this drawing using fine ink pens on Bristol board. Spectacled, or Andean bears (Tremarctos ornatus) are found in the Andes mountains of South America. These bears have long brown or black fur with light cream markings on their face and chest, their name comes from the distinctive shape of the markings on their chests. This drawing is part of my bear series, I have now drawn all of the bear species!
