About this Design

A humorous two-panel comic featuring a black cat and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. In the first panel, the cat says, 'BIU' (bold, italic, underline) to the tower. In the second panel, the cat leans the tower further, implying it's 'italic.' Above, the text reads 'MAKE IT ITALIC.'

Behind this design

kooky love

@kookylove

How did the Leaning Tower of Pisa really get its famous tilt? This clever two-panel webcomic reveals the historical truth: a mischievous cat with a knack for typography! Featuring clean, blue-ink line art, this visual gag shows our feline friend using the "Italic" text-formatting tool to literally push the straight tower into its iconic slant. A perfect pun for designers, typography nerds, webcomic and cat lovers alike!
