“Artist Statement for “A Dropped Bouquet in the Pond” -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ- Botanic Serenity Mandala -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ- This piece was born from a quiet moment in the botanic gardens, where I found myself captivated by the gentle drift of leaves and flowers falling from above. There was a softness to it, a kind of unspoken rhythm in the way nature released and let go that stayed with me. As I worked on this mandala, I tried to translate that feeling into form: the slow unfolding of petals, the layered symmetry, the sense of movement held within stillness. The colors echo that memory, warm, organic and alive, while the structure reflects the meditative state I entered while observing and creating this moment. This mandala is, in essence, a small preservation of that moment. A quiet space shaped by nature, translated through pattern and color.
