What to know about Brian?

He loves flowers, and photographs them whenever he can.
He studies calligraphy, from Chinese and Japanese styles, to square kufic Arabic calligraphy.
He's pretty darn fluent in Japanese, and is prone to terrible puns in both English and Japanese.
He works for a really cool company, but manages to keep his work life and art life very separate.
He studied design in British Columbia, at Emily Carr, BCIT, and Langara.
He's crazy about fonts and typefaces.
He's writing a memoir about the 1980s and 1990s, about coming out, HIV-AIDS, and Japan.
And long ago, he won the boyfriend lottery and married the man who still makes him laugh every day.
