Brad Phillips, a Canadian artist and author based in Toronto and New York, brings an absurd sense of humor to his Threadless collection. While he’s known for exploring dark subject matter in his oil paintings and written works—including his short story collection, Essays & Fictions—his t-shirt designs strike a more overtly humorous tone by juxtaposing images and words in unexpected ways. You’ll find references to pop culture, satire on current events, and spoofs of overused cliches.
