From time to time I'll travel down memory lane by converting a sketch I did years ago to a painting and such is the case with 'Wish Upon a Star' This one was inspired by a pastel sketch I did when I was just beginning to try my hand with charcoal & pastels again after a very long time away. A self portrait this time of a magical evening of hope when a shooting star crossed my gaze. Look up!
