Colorful ink illustration of a gladiator clownfish. Gladiator clownfish or DaVinci clownfish are a designer morph of the ocellaris clownfish, they can vary greatly but generally retain the first orange stripe but the next stripe may either be irregular or form patches with more white on the body than usual. Ocellaris clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) or common clownfish are a small species of tropical marine fish found in ocean reefs. Many morphs of this species exist but the most commonly seen are a vibrant red orange with three vertical white stripes which are lined in black. Drawn using ink pens and coloured using alcohol markers, on Bristol board. This drawing is part of a collection of 11 clownfish illustrations, I am fascinated by the exotic clownfish morphs available in the aquarium trade and so wanted to draw some! Each drawing in the collection is available in both black and white and coloured and the whole collection will be available in one print all together!
