About this Design

The image portrays a line drawing of two elderly, emaciated individuals lying in hospital beds. Their expressions and the setting evoke a sense of despair and weariness. Each person appears frail, gaunt, and sickly; the one on the right is reading a letter while the other is eating from a bowl. Sparse details of the beds and a small bedside table with a few objects add to the bleak atmosphere.
