About this Design

The image is a black and white collage of nine vintage-style parody advertisements featuring monkeys and chimpanzees. Ads include services like 'Monkey Chat' for $5 per minute, 'Darling Live Chimps for Sale,' a book subscription called 'APE Books,' and more. These ads use whimsical and exaggerated language, showcasing fictitious services and products humorously involving primates. The style is reminiscent of old newspaper advertisements from mid-century America.
